While designed for liquids, we've seen these used in bars & restaurants as novelty snack holders for nuts, pretzels & popcorn (pre happy hour recommended).

Although glass lab beakers do have volume markings on them, they are intended more for mixing & not for measuring. For accurate measurements, graduated cylinders are recommended in place of beakers.
