13 Piece Scientific Tuning Fork Set

The 13 piece scientific tuning fork set comes in a canvas rollup bag and covers a single octave from C256Hz to C512Hz. We call it "scientific" because if you divide 512/256 (or 256/512) you can see that the ratio is 2 (or 1/2) which makes the binary relationship between adjacent octaves more apparent. This is even more obvious with our 6 piece C fork set which comes with 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 & 4096Hz.

The 13 fork set fills out the basic 8 fork set with the 5 additional sharps. The sharps are usually more useful in music but because the science & music sets share a common mathematical relationship, we provide 8 & 13 fork versions of both.
