Curved & Straight Forceps: Mosquito & Roch. Pean

These small hemostatic forceps were traditionally used as clamps for arteries and veins but have many non-surgical uses. Curved forceps are great for grasping and removing fish hooks or as tube clamps for clamping fuel lines in model airplanes.

The smaller Halstead mosquito forceps at the bottom are about 125mm (5") long and have finer tips for more delicate work.

Note: All hemostats are made from grade 410 stainless steel for hardness and autoclavability. They are utility grade, suitable for animal and plant studies, and are not for human use.
