Fine Surgical Scissors
Iris and Dissecting

Iris scissors are very sharp and good for routine fine cutting work; the curved ones are often used by hobbyists to cut Lexan in plastic model cars. The open shank scissors are intended for intermediate fine work. For cutting much heaver materials, you should consider and for finer work .

Note: all scissors are made from grade 420 stainless steel for hardness and autoclavability. They are utility grade, suitable for animal and plant studies, and are not for human use. They are also sharp and durable for exacting work in arts and crafts and hobbies.
