Carbon Steel Surgical Blades

The standard #3 stainless steel scalpel handle holds a versatile range of surgical blades. We include style #10 with our dissecting sets. The #11 is angled and very similar to an X-acto blade while the #12 can be used for trimming rubber and plastic. Carbon steel surgical blades are brittle and you are strongly advised to use safety goggles when cutting since the blade could snap & cause serious eye damage.
