Vitamin C Test Strips

These vitamin C (ascorbic acid) test strips are intended for biology lab use. However, if you are so inclined, you can use them at home to see if the vitamin C levels in your fruit juices are as advertised. These strips are calibrated in per cent (%) with 0.01% being equivalent to 10mg/100ml and 0.1% is equal to 100mg/100ml.

These strips are also unusual in that they start out as dark blue and get progressively lighter as the ascorbic acid levels rise.
