pH Level 1-14 for Acid Base Science Experiments
Wide range pH level test papers can measure pH 1-14 and are ideal for science fair experiments.
The indicator pads are mounted on high contrast white plastic strips and are convenient for dipping into test tubes
whether you are testing lemon juice, vinegar or baking soda. If you want to economize & buy just one
type of pH paper, for use in acid base pH problems of a broad range of different substances, this is it.
Note: The number of strips per pack or vial is approximate.
- Wide range paper pH 1-14 for general use
- Three pad reference; 1 changes, 2 don't
- Resolution is 1 pH unit
This triple pad version works the same as the others in that only 1 pad changes, the other 2 are there simply to make
comparison easier and with practice you can use them to extrapolate an intermediate pH; i.e. a 0.5 pH step.
The bottom pad on the strip is matched with column "1", the middle is column "2", the top pad matches column "3". The
instructions below otherwise still apply.
Test Specifications; How to Use
- Dip strip in solution for 1-2 seconds; compare to color chart
- Solutions must be aqueous (water based)
- For soaps, wet the strip first; oils cannot be tested
- Deeply colored solutions can cause inaccurate readings
- 2+ year shelf life if kept sealed & out of direct sunlight
- Papers are non-bleeding so can be dipped for several minutes
