Petri Dishes

The 85x15mm clear polystyrene petri dishes come steriled, packaged 20 per sleeve and are suitable microbiology and for science fair studies involving airborne microbes. A 9cm diameter filter paper fits snugly into the lid or you can use a 7cm piece on the bottom.

Petri dishes have uses beyond microbiology. Here are some possibilities:

Use with iron filings & a magnet as magnetic field viewer
Use with for seed germination
Drill/burn holes, add boric acid drops TO bread crumbs or sugar to make a reusable ant trap
Sample display cases or unique gift wrap
