Equilateral Glass Prisms
Light, especially "white" light like sunlight is without doubt as important to life as water. From physics and the stars,
to chemistry and materials through to biology and photosynthesis and color vision, understanding the nature of light is a common denominator
in all areas of science.
An equilateral glass prism is an inexpensive way to introduce a basic understanding by showing white light refraction or the splitting
of sunlight into its constituent colors of violet, blue, green, yellow, orange and red.
A right angle prism can be used to demonstrate reflection and how light behaves on surfaces.

Note: These prisms are made with clear BK7 glass but are still "student" grade. Some may have minor chips along the edges but this
has no effect on the optical quality; i.e. they still refract light & produce a clear rainbow spectrum.
