Its 45mm diameter atoms (25mm hydrogen) coupled with strong aluminum tubes for bonds ensures durability and reliability. Unit Large Models
The Unit Large Molecular Model can be used to build all the common structures used in organic & inorganic chemistry and biochemistry. Its solid design permits cyclohexane chair-boat flips, long chain alkanes, single bonds that fully rotate and double-triple bonds that don't.

Unit Crystal Lattices
The Unit Large Molecular model set is so named because it was designed orginally to show the 7 basic crystal systems. Each atom has all the holes needed for any 45mm sphere to take on any valence from univalent to 12 coordinate.
