Open, Hybrid, Spacefilling Styles
| The hybrid style uses the "Molydome" (hemispherical) hydrogen with short bonds for a spacefilling appearance but regular 20 & 35mm bonds for single/double/triple covalent bonds. In this instance, hydrogen atoms are viewed as placeholders mainly to account for bound electrons & is more economical than a fully open model. |

| The spacefilling style uses short bonds for all connections with double & triple bonding
implied by the geometry of the atoms. The benzene ring at the lower right uses trigonal bipyramidal carbons to produce a flat
ring compared to the cyclohexane to its left which uses tetrahedral carbons. Note different atomic radii are not accurately represented so this is not completely a accurate spacefilling representation. This configuration is recommended only for advanced users. |
