Cubic-Isometric System Crystal Lattice Unit Cell

The cubic crystal or isometric system occurs in 3 forms: simple, body centered (bcc) and face centered (fcc). This group includes many common crystal structures such as diamond, sodium chloride and zinc blende as well as the important semiconductors gallium arsenide and cadmium telluride. The cubic Unit cell model shown below is approximately 150mm (6") per side and is ideal for classroom demonstration. Specific models such as those mentioned above can be found in our Molymod model kit or Orbit model kit sections.
