Tyrosine acid Amino Acid Molecular Model

L-tyrosine has an aromatic side chain with an hydroxyl group and is less hydrophobic than phenylalanine. This is one of the basic 20 amino acids you can build with this kit. For a different style of model, see: molymod tyrosine.

The models shown below were built with 20mm bonds so they could be shown with their relative sizes. However, the kit and the biochemistry sets use 20mm only for C-H, C=0, C=C, C=N and 30mm for C-C, C-N, C-O and C-S which are better approximations.
