Low Density Polyethylene Molecule Structure

Low density polyethylene (LDPE) is best known for its use in the ubiquitous disposable grocery shopping bag, garment bags and bubble wrap.

There is currently no dedicated kit for this model but you can build it using our Advanced Student Organic Chemistry Set, 68827W and 6 additional hydrogens. The number of components required to build this model are listed below. The numbers shown in brackets, e.g. (Qty) are the number of parts that come with the student set. If you are considering building more than one such polymer model, you may wish to consider the larger Class version.
