Cysteine Amino Acid Molecular Model

L-cysteine has a sidechain with a sulfhydryl group that is hydrophobic. This is one of the basic 20 amino acids you can build with this kit. For a different style of model, see: molymod cysteine.

The models shown below were built with 20mm bonds so they could be shown with their relative sizes. However, the kit and the biochemistry sets use 20mm only for C-H, C=0, C=C, C=N and 30mm for C-C, C-N, C-O and C-S which are better approximations.
