Biochemistry Molecular Model Class Set

The biochemistry class molecular model set is roughly double the size of the student set. It includes several non-VSEPR atoms for unusual configurations to build amino, fatty acid and nucleic acids, polysaccharides & peptides.

Models shown below include glucose, sucrose, riboflavin, nucleotides AT & GC. The opaque pieces that are on top are used to form double bonds & allow the ring structures to have a planar geometry. Use 1 20mm regular bond & 1 20mm "thin" bond and 2 of the "X" pegs. See the main models page for information on double bonds
