Orbit Planar Atoms
Orbit planar atoms come in 4 different versions to accomodate standard
and non-standard VSEPR geometries. The most popular is the equilateral 120o shown at the lower
left which is used in 6 member rings such as

The 5 member ring shown at the lower right uses the 108-126-126o version. You can, if you
are a purest, combine these two geometries to minimize strain in nanotubes that use 5 & 6 member rings,
but the flexible "wobbly"™ bonds are usually sufficient for this & don't require orienting the atoms. |
