Amoxicillin Molecular Model

Amoxicillin is a popular derivative of penicillin since it can be taken orally. It is mainly used against Gram positive bacteria such as Streptococcus sp. which causes strep throat, and some Gram negative bacteria such as E. coli. It has a chemical formula of C₁₆H₁₉N₃O₅S.

There is currently no dedicated kit for this model but you can build it using our Advanced Student biochemistry Set, 68829W. The number of components required to build this model are listed below. The numbers in brackets, (Qty) are the amounts that come with the student set. If you want to build more than one such model, you will need the larger Class version.
