Simple Thiols Built with Set 62009
| Four thiols are shown below. On the lower right is methanethiol, featured on the cover of Scientific American, June 2007,
one is one of many very simple molecules that might have sparked the beginnings of life on earth. The other molecules are: butanethiol, upper left;
2-(methylthio)ethanol, upper right; and the amino acid, cysteine. The 62009 model set comes with 1 sulfur atom so you can only build one of the these
