Nanowire Molecular Model Kit

The image below shows our represention of a nanowire similar to a single walled carbon nanotube but with a smaller circumference for a higher aspect ratio. The model as shown is 2.5m (~8ft) long & 65mm (~2.75") diameter & comes with 1200 "Minit" atoms & 1800 flexible 15mm clear bonds. We had to break it into 3 sections to fit it into the picture: an interesting conversation piece at the very least and if nanotech doesn't work out, you can always try physics & use it for string theory.

Note: The image shows 20mm white bonds but as of 2010.06.11 ships with 15mm clear bonds.
