Field Effect Transistor/Display

| This is a simplified representation of an carbon nanotube field effect transistor
(FET) or field effect display (FED). This material has great potential for producing novel types of displays
that inexpensive, large, flat, high resolution and reliable. It offers a simple but elegant illustration of carbon nanotube
technology application. This model consists of a Minit carbon nanotube with several other components that act as a mount for the nanotube. The version shown below uses our "GlowBonds" which causes the nanotube to glow in the dark (phosphorescence). |
