Cr8 Magnetic Molecule Model Kit

This is a representation of an organic nanomagnet molecule, Cr8. The image below was taken with a digital camera set at ISO1600 and an exposure of 10 seconds. In reality it will not glow this brightly but if your eyes are dark adapted, it will be visible for at least 30 seconds. The phosphorescence is symbolic of the potential quantum characteristics of this molecule.
