Armchair, Zig-zag, Chiral Carbon Nanotube Models
The image below shows examples of armchair, zig-zag & chiral carbon nanotubes. The kit has 1000 atoms & 1500 bonds to let you build all
three at the same time. As an added attraction, the GlowBonds™ in this kit are phosphorescent & will glow in the dark. You can see an example of this with
the FET nanotube display.
Note: These kits are intended for advanced users only. There are no instructions provided at present but we recommend this site at
Nagoya University in Japan which has many Quicktime movies that are
very instructive.
