LSD Molecular Model Kit

LSD is a strong hallucinogen. A rough form, ergotamine, which can occur in stored rye grain, is believed to have been the cause of the odd behaviour which triggered the Salem witch trials. LSD is also a very good example of the importance of stereoisomerism. The mirror image of the active form does not induce hallucinations.
