SW & MW Carbon Nanotube Models

Nanotubes can be built in a variety of ways and can be customized to fit your requirements.

Molymod style components are the largest and use 23mm spheres for atoms & 20mm bonds. They are more expensive than the others but are very robust.

Orbit components feature 10mm central spheres with radiating arms and bonds in lengths of 20, 25, 30 & 35mm to allow for varying degrees of nanotube stiffness. Parts are available to permit cross-linking of tubes & nanospheres.

Minit components are similar to Orbit except that the central spheres are 6mm and use bonds of 15, 20 & 25mm length. This type is ideal for building nanowire models which have a greater length to diameter ratio.
