Note: Although these magnets are not marked north/south you can align them in the same direction with either a compass or magnaprobe.

Neodymium rare earth magnets are the strongest permanent magnets by weight and come in many grades; we carry N42 (13,000 Gauss) which is a good tradeoff of strength vs price for both educational & industrial applications.

Custom magnets, strengths (N40-N52) and max. temperatures (up to 180C) are available with a minimum order of $100. Send us your specifications & drawings (jpg or PDF) so we can quote you.

North/south poles are through the flat surfaces of disks, rectangles, rings and cylinders. Other axes of magnetization are available on special order. Indicate this clearly on your drawing if needed.
