Neodymium Ring Magnets

thicknesses from 1 to 10mm. Ring magnets are used in building large, free standing loudspeakers. Neodymium ring magnets pack a lot more "magnetic power" into a small volume and are used in earbuds and headphones. We have a wide variety of sizes of such "speaker" magnets that you can use to build your own...great fun for science fair! For simple holding applications such as attaching banners to cars or closing brochures, neodymium ring magnets can be used much the same as regular neo disc magnets and are popular for tripping proximity sensors. You can also use them to retrieve metallic objects that have fallen down drains by tying a string around them. Or, you can choose from the many different internal diameters we offer and demonstrate magnetic levitation by mounting the magnets on straws, pencils, wooden dowels and more. |
