Artwork Instructions Silkscreen

Do not compress files (pk zip or stuffit); We are on a PC format and all Mac files must be converted for use on an IBM platform. Please send them in "Vector" format created in the programs listed below. Vector is the best type of artwork for use in silkscreen printing.

Corel Draw 10, saved with a .cdr extension or Adobe Illustrator Version 10, saved with the extension .ai or .eps. All fonts/text must be converted to Curves - for Corel Draw and Create Outlines - for Illustrator. All art must be on one layer and not locked.

Do not send Quark files because we cannot read them. If your design contains any halftones or gradients make sure they are nothing less than a 25% screen. Normally we print a 45 line dot screen but can go a bit higher. We might need to see a hard copy of the design to determine the line dot size since each project is limited by the surfaces it is printed on.

Send your artwork as a file attachment to: info@indigo.com. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours (M-F only), call us since the spam filter might have trapped it.
